Qwest Communications Corporation Deploys Avici Systems SSR Routers
Scalable Routers Support High Bandwidth Services for Peering and Aggregation
N. Billerica, MA., October 3, 2002 -- Avici Systems (Nasdaq: AVCI), the specialist in reliable and scalable routing solutions for the Internet, today announced the deployment of Avici Systems SSR routers in Qwest Communications Corporation’s broadband network. SSR routers will be installed in five production Points of Presence (PoPs) for aggregating customer traffic and providing peering capabilities.
