
This chapter describes messages generated by the server-fsm subsystem.
Warning
Message: Notifying BACKUP SERVER DEAD to clientsMeaning: The backup server is DOWN.
Action: Checkout whether the backup server has rebooted, because the keepalive timer has expired.
Message: <name>(): declaring backup server <number> dead after <keepalive misses> misses <keepalive misses> totalMeaning: The primary server has missed more than allowed number of keepalive messages for the particular client before failing over.
Action: Checkout whether the backup server has rebooted because keepalive is not reaching the primary.
Message: <name>(): lost keepalive with backup server <number>Meaning: The primary server has missed more than the maximum allowed number of keepalive messages for the particular client before failing over.
Action: Check if the backup server has rebooted or find out the reason with backup server for keepalive lost
Message: <name>(): sending keepalive over the <number> LAN to server <number>Meaning: The server keepalive destination is being set. The keepalive message is being sent through ETH[3/4].
Action: No action required.
Message: <name>(): sending keepalive over the FABRIC to server <number>Meaning: The Server keepalive destination is being set to SAM (as the first hop). The Keep Alive messages are being sent through the fabric.
Action: No action required
Message: <name>(): server <number> is being marked downMeaning: The time difference of the last message received by the server has crossed the server timer discovery ageout value.
Action: No action required.
