Critical
Message: Unable to start RSVPMeaning: The RSVP-TE MPLS component failed during initialization.
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support immediately.
Message: Unable to start Repository taskMeaning: High Availability functionality on the Backup server could not initialize properly.
Action: Contact Avici Customer Support
Message: Unable to start the Routing taskMeaning: The system routing software component failed during initialization.
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support immediately.
Major
Message: Backup Server down: <string>Meaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Message: Invalid IO Handler for Proto <id>Meaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Message: Replication-Task Proto <name>(<priority>) exceeded MAX-SPOOL-SIZEMeaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Message: avIsc Partial Write Proto:<id> ..wrote <bytes written> bytes spooling <number> bytesMeaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Message: krt_ifread: Receive type=<message type> seq=<message sequence number> message from pollingMeaning: Traces the interface polling at bootup time or buffer overflow. Severity_level is information at boot up time, otherwise it is major.
Action: If the log occurs at boot up time, no action required. Otherwise, contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: krt_recv: Discard old packets with seq <received message sequence>, expected <expected message sequence>. Drop total <packets dropped> packets.Meaning: IPriori has received an old interface notification message.
Action: If the problem persists, contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: krt_recv: Receive buffer overflow. Available space=<available buffer space> bytes. Schedule interface pollingMeaning: Notification of a conjection taking place, providing how much buffer space is left in the receiving buffer.
Action: If the problem persists, contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: replication: malloc failure creating replication-spool elementMeaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Message: sst-fsm:Error Initialising ServerFSM pipeMeaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Message: sst-fsm:Invalid Notification <notification id> in state <state>Meaning: Communication to BACKUP failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work
Action: Save log on backup server and contact Avici customer support
Minor
Message: Time passed in seconds since we processed sockets is <second> . Function name: <function>Meaning: This Log indicates when the sockets was last processed.
Action: No action required.
Warning
Message: Commence routing updatesMeaning: This is a normal message that occurs when the server is reset, indicating that routing may now begin.
Action: No action required.
Message: OSPF SENT <address>: <number> <error string>Meaning: This is a normal message that will be seen occasionally when an interface has just gone down. OSPF had tried to send a message at approximately the same the interface went down.
Action: No action required.
Message: krt_recv_route: overriding attempt to delete route to <address>/255.255.255.255Meaning: Received a route deletion request with an unknown gateway protocol type.
Action: None.
Message: rt_change: interface not found for net <address> gateway <address>Meaning: This is a normal message that occurs when a route was attempted to be added, but the outgoing interface that IPriori would use is down.
Action: No action required.
Message: sst-fsm: Accepted new notification <new notification event> [previous notification: <old notification event>] in state <old HA state> [new state:<new HA state>]Meaning: Records am old and new notification event and state in the High Availability server.
Action: No action required.
Message: sst-fsm: Received external notification <notification event> in state <state>Meaning: Records an FSM external notification event and state.
Action: No action required.
Message: sst-fsm:Send reboot back request to serverFSM - proto:<Protocol initiating the request>Meaning: Provides which entity withing routing initiated backup reboot request
Action: No action required.
Message: sst-fsm:old state <old state> event <event notification> new state <new state> time-in-state <seconds in state>Meaning: Provides a notification of a High Availability server state change.
Action: No action required.
Message: task_set_option: task OSPF socket <n> option MulticastInterface(<n>) interface <address> (pos<n>): <string error>Meaning: Normal message when an OSPF-configured interface comes up.
Action: No action required.
