mpls-statc Messages

This chapter describes messages generated by the mpls-statc subsystem.

Critical

Message: Entering select loop

Meaning: Initialization Message from MPLS Statistics

Action: No action required - this has no operational effect.

Message: invalid FEC

Meaning: An valid Forwarding Equivalence Class (FEC) could not be found for an LSP.

Action: This is a configuration or Software error.

Major

Message: <function> invalid FEC type

Meaning: The statistics collector encountered an invalid FEC

Action: No Action, since this does not hinder any data forwarding. If in doubt, contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: <function> outsegment not found

Meaning: The required outsegment was not found while collecting MPLS statistics

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: Could not connect to CLI, retry limit exceeded

Meaning: An internal software component failed to initialize properly.

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: Could not connect to SwMap, retry limit exceeded

Meaning: An internal software component failed to initialize properly

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: Notification registration failed, response from SwMap: STATUS = <number>, RXSTATE = <number>

Meaning: An internal software component failed to initialize properly.

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: StatC command context area is too small!

Meaning: An internal software component detected an invalid message size.

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: Unable to register for SwMap notification, status = <number>

Meaning: An internal software component failed to initialize properly

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: Unable to spawn MPLS Statistic Collector, error = <hexadecimal>

Meaning: An internal software component failed to initialize properly.

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
