This chapter describes messages generated by the bgp-rep subsystem.

Major

Message: Buffer is too small for reset candidate list

Meaning: An internal error occurred during High Availability processing.

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: Error Reading BGP repository

Meaning: As internal error occurred when processing BGP information in High Availability functionality.

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: peer <name>: peerId <peer>, UPDATE no next hop found

Meaning: BACKUP server failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: peer <name>: peerId <peer>, UPDATE prefix length <length> exceeds prefix data remaining (<number> bytes)

Meaning: BACKUP server failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: peer <name>: peerId <peer>, UPDATE prefix length <length> exceeds unreachable prefix data remaining (<number> bytes)

Meaning: BACKUP server failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: peer <name>: peerId <peer>, UPDATE prefix length <length> too long

Meaning: BACKUP server failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support

Message: peer <name>: peerId <peer>, UPDATE unreachable prefix length <length> too long

Meaning: BACKUP server failed. No effect on Primary server. HA will not work

Action: Contact Avici Customer Support
