This chapter describes messages generated by the baywatch subsystem.
Critical
Message: Bay <area>, controller <number> - Failed to connect slot timer! <number>Meaning: The specified Bay Controller failed to initialize.
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: Bay <area>, controller <number> - Failed to create slot timer! <number>Meaning: The specified Bay Controller failed to initialize.
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: Bay <area>, controller <number> - Failed to set slot timer! <number>Meaning: The specified Bay Controller failed to initialize.
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: Bay <number>, controller <number> - Initialization Failure <message>Meaning: The specified Bay Controller failed to initialize.
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
Major
Message: Bay <n>, controller <n> - SlotDrvLock errorMeaning: Failed to get the semaphore for bay slot driver
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: Bay <number>, controller <number> - Verification-test failed (reason: <message>)Meaning: Power rail or Fan control verification failed when bay controller asked to go active
Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
Message: Bay <n>, module slot <n>: Serial communications protocol error <n>Meaning: Bay controller ID is changed
Action: Check the bay settings. If problem persists, Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.
