arp-cache-mgr Messages

This chapter describes messages generated by the arp-cache-mgr subsystem.

Major

Message: <function> bad port <number>

Meaning: An internal software component failed to process an IP packet arriving on a Gig-E Line Card.

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: Could not allocate memory

Meaning: An internal software component failed to allocate memory.

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: Multiple Init

Meaning: An internal software component failed to initialize properly

Action: Save your system log to a file and contact Avici Customer Support..
