aaa Messages

This chapter describes messages generated by the aaa subsystem.

Warning

Message: <session>: Connect to AAA server timed out

Meaning: Connection to AAA server timed out when trying to send AAA request

Action: Check the connectivity to the AAA server and try the command again. If the problem persists, contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: <session>: TacAuthorization: Failed to connect to AAA server

Meaning: Connection to AAA server failed while trying to send authorization request

Action: Check the connectivity to AAA server and try the command again. If the problem persists contact Avici Customer Support.

Message: tty<session>: Autorization failed error: <string> attempt = <number>

Meaning: Authorization failed for the request sent. Error message provides error number. See Error Code Definitions Addendum for reason.

Action: For error: Unauthenticated session, try again by logging out and loging back in.For error: Authorization error, the user is not authorized to run this command. For error: Failed to connect to AAA server, check the connectivity to the AAA server and try the command again. If the problem persists contact Avici Customer Support.
