Support Services

There are three ways to obtain information on customer service and training:

Overview

Each Terabit Switch Router Series II (TSR II) bay must be transported using a custom dolly. The custom dolly used for the TSR bay is not suitable for transporting the TSR II bay due to design differences in the bays. The TSR II Dolly Adapter kit allows customers to upgrade their existing custom dolly for use with the TSR II bay.

Each custom dolly consists of a front and rear dolly. After the dolly adapter kit is installed and engaged in both the front and rear of the TSR II bay simultaneously, the bay may be moved. Refer to Terabit Switch Router Series II Install Guide (Single Bay) for detailed instructions for using the dolly once the adapter kit is installed.

CAUTION (1) The TSR II bay may only be moved using the adapted custom dolly.

TSR II Custom Dolly Adapter Kit

On TSR II bays, the keyhole(s) where the dolly attaches to the bay are in a different location than on the TSR bay. The adapter kit consists of plates which are bolted to the dolly lift arms as extensions to accommodate the different keyhole location.

The adapter kit consists of the following items:

Installing the Adapter Kit

The adapter plates must be installed on both the front and the rear dolly. The adapter plate extends the dolly lift arms and allows the dolly to properly fit the keyholes in the TSR II bay. Refer to Figure 1 to view the TSR custom dolly and refer to Figure 2 to view the TSR II dolly with adapter plate installed.

Step 6 Reattach the 4 hex handles to the ends of the clamp rods that were removed in Step 1. Use a 3mm hex wrench to tighten the set screws on the hex handles (refer to Figure 7).

Step 7 Repeat Step 3 through Step 6 for other side of dolly.

Step 8 Repeat Step 1 through Step 7 for the other dolly.
