tunnel parameter-set


Creates/deletes a tunnel parameter-set with the specified name and changes the command mode to traffic engineering tunnel parameter set command mode.

Syntax: [no] tunnel parameter-set name

name

Creates a parameter-set with the specified name. Changes the command mode to TE tunnel parameter-set mode.

Description: An MPLS tunnel (or Label Switched Path) is a predetermined path through the network. Tunnel definitions include a variety of attributes such as bandwidth, timers, and priorities. Use the tunnel parameter-set command to create sets of attributes that can be applied to multiple tunnels.

There is no limit to the number of tunnel parameter sets you can create.

Use the tunnel parameter-set name command to create a parameter set with the specified parameter-set name and to change the command mode to traffic engineering tunnel parameter set command mode.

Use the no tunnel parameter-set name command to delete a parameter set with the specified name.

NOTE If you make configuration changes while in traffic engineering tunnel parameter-set command mode, the changes are saved if you: Use the exit command to exit tunnel parameter-set command mode and save the changes. Allow 60 seconds to elapse with no input.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Traffic engineering, traffic engineering path-list, and traffic engineering tunnel-name.

Example: In the following example, the tunnel parameter-set command defines a name for a new parameter-set and changes the command mode to traffic engineering tunnel parameter set command mode:

router#configure terminal

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

router(config)#mpls te isis level-1

router(config-te)#tunnel parameter-set OC48best

router(config-te-tunnel-param)#
