
shutdown
Tears down the LSP and releases the LSP's reserved bandwidth.
Syntax: [no] shutdown
Description: Use the shutdown command to tear down the tunnel, reroute the traffic, and release the reserved bandwidth.
Use the no shutdown command to re-establish the tunnel.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Traffic engineering tunnel-name.
Example: In the following example, the shutdown command closes a tunnel:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#mpls te ospf
router(config-te)#tunnel toPVE
router(config-te-tunnel)#shutdown
