
shortcut / notraffic
Defines how a tunnel is used.
Syntax: shortcut
notraffic
Description: You may encounter situations where you want to configure a tunnel, but not route traffic through the tunnel.
Use the shortcut command to configure the tunnel to accept traffic as soon as the tunnel configuration is complete.
Use the notraffic command to configure the tunnel, but not send traffic into the tunnel.
Factory Default: Shortcut.
Command Mode: Traffic engineering tunnel-name.
Example: In the following example, the shortcut command configures the tunnel to accept traffic immediately:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#mpls te ospf
router(config-te)#tunnel ToPVE
router(config-te-tunnel)#shortcut
