mpls te administrative-color
Assigns administrative colors to an interface.
Syntax: [no] mpls te administrative-color colorNames
colorNames
List one or more pre-configured administrative colors delineated by a space.
Description: Administrative colors provide the user with a means of assigning meaningful resource class related labels to an interface. A color might be assigned for the type of organization, subgroups within that organization, link value, priority, and the geographical region the link is associated with. When traffic engineering attempts to establish a label switched path, one of the criteria it takes into consideration is whether a given administrative color can be included or excluded from the tunnel. By associating an administrative color with an interface you are informing traffic engineering that any tunnel that includes the assigned administrative color in its parameter-set or tunnel name can use this interface. If a tunnel specifically excludes an administrative color, interfaces associated with that administrative color will be excluded when computing traffic engineering path for that tunnel.
Administrative colors are created using the administrative-color command in configuration mode before being assigned to an interface.
Use the mpls te administrative-color command, in interface configuration mode, to specify administrative colors for this interface. The command supports as many names as can fit on a single command line. Color lists are not supported.
Use the no mpls te administrative-color command to delete all defined administrative colors for the interface.
