apply exp-mapping default
Provides access to EXP mapping default command mode for the default mapping of EXP values to PSCs for this interface.
Syntax: [no] apply exp-mapping default
Description: You must enter an EXP mapping command mode in order to map EXP values to PSCs. The mapping can be global or interface specific. If you are in configuration mode, the mapping is global to the router using the exp-mapping default command, unless overwritten by an interface configuration. If you are in interface mode, the mapping is specific to that interface using the apply command.
Use the apply exp-mapping default command to enter the command mode for the mapping of any EXP values that have not been specified either globally or for a specific interface using a named parameter-set for this interface. When first entering this command mode, any changes made modify factory default settings.
Once in default EXP-mapping command mode, use the from expValue to psc command to map specified EXP values to an MPLS PSC.
Use the no apply exp-mapping default command to reset EXP to PSC mappings to factory default for this interface.
Use the exp-mapping default command in configuration command mode to set exp-mapping defaults globally for this router.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Interface mode.
Example 1: The following example provides access to the command mode for configuring default EXP to PSC mappings on the 1/1/1 interface:
router#config terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z
router(config)#interface pos 1/1/1
router(config-if)#apply exp-mapping default
router(config-if)#
Example 2: The following command resets global EXP to PSC mappings to the factory default settings for the 1/1/1 interface:
router#config terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#interface pos 1/1/1
router(config-if)#no apply exp-mapping default
