show ip route multicast


Displays configured multicast static routes.

Syntax: show ip route multicast

Description: The show ip route multicast command displays active configured multicast routes in the Routing Information Base (RIB) used for RPF calculation.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Privileged.

Example: The following example displays configured multicast static routes:

router#show ip route multicast

Codes: C - connected        O - OSPF        i - IS-IS

S - Static       IA - inter area      L1 - level-1

B - BGP          EI - external type 1 L2 - level-2

E2 - external type 2

*  - candidate default

m - route's metric

w - route's weight

C        10.200.1.0./16       directly connected to Ethernet 0

C        127.0.0.1/32         via 198.10.2.10 [w:0 m:20]

0        198.10.8.0/24        via 198.10.7.7 [w:0 m:20]

Describes type of configured route in Multicast Routing Base (RIB)

N.N.N.N/nn

Network address and mask of the remote network.

via N.N.N.N.

Indicates next router in the remote network.

directly

connected to

Indicates the network is directly connected to a local interface

w:

The weight assigned to this route.

m:

The metric assigned to this route.
