clear ip mcache
Removes specified Source, Group entries from the cache of a specified routing module or all modules
Syntax: clear ip mcache module {bay #/slot # | all}
bay #/slot #
Clears cache entries from the specific module
all
Clears cache entries from all modules in a bay
Description: Use the clear ip mcache module bay #/slot # to clear all cache entries from a module.
Use the clear ip mcache module all to clear cache entries for all modules.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Executive.
Example 1: The following command clears all cache entries from a specific module.
router#clear ip mcache module 1/3
router#
Example 2: The following command clears all the cache entries from all of the modules:
router#clear ip mcache module all
router#
