clear ip bgp ipv4 multicast flap-statistics
Clears the flap statistics counters for MBGP neighbors.
Syntax: clear ip bgp ipv4 multicast ip-address flap-statistics
ip-address
An IP address; flap statistics are cleared for all paths from the neighbor at this address.
Description: Used to clear all the MBGP flap-statistics counters for all paths from the neighbor at the IP address provided.
The flap statistics for a route are also cleared when a BGP peer is reset. Although the reset withdraws the route, there is no penalty applied in this instance, even though route flap dampening is enabled.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Privileged.
Example: The following example clears all MBGP flap statistics:
router#clear ip bgp ipv4 multicast flap-statistics
