
external-srlg
Enters the external SRLG command mode used to create and modify SRLGs.
Syntax: [no] external-srlg {srlgNumber | srlgName}
srlgNumber
Specifies the SRLG number assigned when creating or modifying the SRLG. Valid values are any assigned SRLG number: 0 - 4294967295.
srlgName
Specifies an alpha-numeric text name assigned when creating or modifying the SRLG.
Description: SRLGs are created or modified by entering the external SRLG command mode, identifying the SRLG to be created or modified by its name or number. Once in the command mode for the desired SRLG, use the from command to add a link or node to the SRLG.
Use the external-srlg command to enter the external SRLG command mode.
Use the no external-srlg command to delete an SRLG.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Configuration.
Example 1: In the following example, the external-srlg command enters the external SRLG command mode for SRLG 1:
router1#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#external-srlg 1
router(external-srlg)#
Example 2: In the following example, the no external-srlg command deletes the SRLG 1:
router1#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#no external-srlg 1
router(config)#
