clear ldp inactive-fec


Clears specified or all LDP FEC.

Syntax: clear ldp inactive-fec {prefixLength | all}

prefixLength

Specifies the prefix and length in the format A.B.C.D/E.

Description: If the LDP control plane should be placed in a bad state such as Idle or no longer having a route to it, it is desirable to clear the state and trigger a recomputation process to fix the FEC. LDP inactive FEC is cleared using the clear ldp inactive-fec command specifying a specific prefix and length or specifying all for all prefixes.

Use the clear ldp inactive prefixLength command to clear the specified inactive FEC.

Use the clear ldp inactive all command to clear all FEC.

Factory Default: N/A.

Command Mode: Privileged.

Example 1: In the following example, the inactive FEC for prefix 80.111.134.0/24 is cleared:

router#clear ldp inactive-fec 80.111.134.0/24

router#

Example 2: In the following example, the all FEC are cleared:

router#clear ldp inactive-fec all

router#
