Syntax: bay baynum/controllernum
baynum
The number of the bay on which this controller resides.
controllernum
The number of the controller to configure. There are two controllers on every bay. Numbered 1 and 2. Controller 1 sits on the bottom left side of the bay. Controller 2 sits on the bottom right side of the bay.
Description: Each Avici bay contains one or two bay controller that monitor the bay, switch modules, cooling modules, and power.
These controllers have associated flash memory which can be set with the boot command. You can also control the type of logging messages that are received regarding these bay controller modules.
Each bay controller contains two flash memory locations: 1 and 2. Each flash location can be loaded with a separate boot image for the bay controller.
Use the bay command to change the command mode to Bay configuration, and access the various commands to configure the bay controller(s).
Use the boot command without the optional file argument to set the default image from which to boot.
Use the boot file command to burn the specified file into the selected flash memory location.
Use the flags command to set the boot flags to be used when the system is restarted. To add new boot flags to the existing boot flag, perform a logical "OR" on the existing boot flag and the new setting.
Use the logging-max-history max_files and the logging-filter system level commands to configure logging for the specified bay controller.
The following commands are available in Bay configuration command mode:
