sntp server
Define a SNTP server for this Avici router.
Syntax: [no] sntp server ip_address
Description: The sntp server command configures a SNTP server for this Avici router. The SNTP server becomes the clock synchronization source. When you issue the sntp server command, the server will start asking the system at the specified address for the current time.
Use the sntp server ip-address command to configure an SNTP server for the Avici router.
Use the no sntp server command to set the SNTP server address to itself.
Factory Default: No SNTP server defined.
Command Mode: Configuration.
Example: In the following example, the SNTP server for this system is set to the system at address 10.5.5.1.
router(config)#sntp server 10.5.5.1
