auto-upgrade
Enables/disables automatic upgrading of module operational, FPGA, boot ROM, and POST images; either globally, for a specific module, or for all modules.
Syntax: [no] auto-upgrade
Description: When auto-upgrade is enabled and an incompatible operational, FPGA, POST or boot ROM image is detected, the image is automatically upgraded to match the image versions of the server and other modules.
Auto-upgrading must be globally enabled in Configuration command mode before it is enabled or disabled on selected modules or all modules.
NOTE If auto-upgrade is globally disabled, it can not be enabled on a module.

Use the no-auto-upgrade command in Configuration command mode globally disable automatic upgrades.
Use the auto-upgrade command in Module configuration command mode to enable automatic upgrades on the specified module.
Use the auto-upgrade command in Module-all configuration command mode to enable automatic upgrades on all modules.
Use the no auto-upgrade command to disable automatic upgrades.
Factory Default: Auto-upgrade enabled, globally and on the modules.
Command Mode: Configuration, module-configuration and module-all configuration.

- The module n/n command specifies a module and changes the command mode to Module configuration.
- The auto-upgrade command enables automatic upgrading of incompatible operational, FPGA, POST, and boot ROM images on the module.

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#auto-upgrade
router(config)#module 1/1
router(config-module)#auto-upgrade
router(config-module)#end
Example 2: In the following example:
- The module n/n command specifies a module and changes the command mode to Module configuration.
- The no auto-upgrade command disables automatic upgrading of incompatible operational, FPGA, POST, and boot ROM images on the module.
- The show running-config command displays the setting:
