show crashdump


Displays crashdump configuration for specified platform.

Syntax: show crashdump {server serverID | module bay/slot | bay bay/slot}

serverID

Specifies the ID number of the route-controller. Valid Values: 1 - 64. Default: None

bay/slot

Specifies the bay and slot number of the module or bay-controller delineated by a forward-slash "/".

Description: Use the show crashdump command, specifying the platform, to display current crashdump configuration information.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and Privileged.

Example: The following example displays crashdump configuration for route-controller 1. .

router#configure terminal

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

router(config)#crashdump server 1

router(config)#exit

router#show crashdump server 1

Crash dump settings:

Exception from interrupt context - enabled

Exception from task context - enabled

Fatal call from interrupt context - enabled

Fatal call from task context - enabled

Panic call from interrupt context - enabled

Panic call from task context - enabled

Field Description

Exception from

Specifies whether exception event is enabled/disabled for each context.

Fatal from

Specifies whether fatal event is enabled/disabled for each context.

Panic from

Specifies whether panic event is enabled/disabled for each context.

host inet

Specifies the host IP address if any configured to receive the crashdump for this platform.

inet on ethernet

Specifies the local IP address that forwards that forwards the crashdump to the receive location.

gateway inet

Specifies the gateway, if any, that will be used for the transport of the crashdump to a remote host.

user

Specifies the configured FTP user name, if any, required for the FTP of the crashdump

ftp password

Specifies the FTP password, if any, required for the FTP of the crashdump

crashdump directory

Specifies the directory to receive the crashdump.

retry

Specifies the number of seconds to wait before attempting to resend the crashdump should communications not be available at the time of the failure.

sequence number

Specifies the beginning sequence number to be appended to the filename for multiple crashdumps.

filename

Specifies the filename to be used for this crashdump.
