Changes the command mode to Server-configuration for the specified server.
Syntax: server server-id
server-id
Identifies the server as set with the server-id command.
Description: Use the server server-id command to change the command mode to Server configuration for the specified server.
The following commands are supported in Server configuration command mode:
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Configuration.
Example: In the following example;
- The server 1 command identifies server 1, and changes the command mode to Server configuration.
- The logging-max history command configures the maximum number of log files associated with server 1 as 10
- The show server command displays the setting:
router(config)#server 1
router(config-server)#logging-max-history 10
router(config-server)#end
router#show server
