
rlogin
Establishes a login session from the local console to the specified remote IP address or hostname.
Syntax: rlogin {ip_addr | word} [internal]
ip_addr
IP address of remote system.
word
Hostname of remote system.
Description: This command is used to establish a connection to the specified remote IP address or hostname.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Privileged.
Example 1: In the following example, the rlogin ip-addr command is used to connect to IP address 10.5.1.118:
router#rlogin 10.5.1.118
Example 2: In the following example, the rlogin word command is used to connect to a system with the host name swuser2:
router#rlogin swuser2
