debug show tech-support


Displays extensive technical support information to the screen or to the specified file.

Syntax: debug show tech-support [filename]

filename

Dumps the output of the command to the specified file.

Description: The debug show tech-support command runs a script that automatically runs a variety of show commands whose output is useful for troubleshooting the Avici router.

Use the debug show-tech-support command with no arguments to display the information on the screen.

NOTE Output of this command can be very long.

Use the debug show-tech-support filename command to save the output in the specified file.

The output includes the output of the following commands:

Command Description

show calendar

Displays the date and time.

show server

Displays information about the server(s).

show version

Displays system version information.

show flash

Displays information about the contents of the server flash memory.

show running-config

Displays the currently operating configuration file.

show bay

Displays configuration information, temperature and voltage status for each bay.

show bay slots

Displays information about each slot.

show flash bay

Displays information about the contents of bay controller flash memory.

show modules

Displays detailed information about each module.

no CLI command

Displays the server task's stacks.

show interface

Displays detailed information about each interface, including both external routing interfaces and internal interfaces.

show cpu

Displays information about CPU usage by task and percentage of idle time.

no CLI command

Display all tasks running on the server, and details about any suspended tasks.

no CLI command

Displays the status of the buffer pool table, cluster pool table, and.system pool.

no CLI command

Displays what files are accessing the disk.

no CLI command

Displays the I/O device table.

show ip traffic

Displays TCP, UDP, IP, and ICMP statistics.

no CLI command

Displays the buffer pool table.

Example: The following is partial output of the debug show-tech-support command:
