
clock timezone
Labels the timezone for output in show commands.
Syntax: clock timezone string [number]
no clock timezone
string
A 4 to 20-character alphabetic string used to label the time zone in which you are operating.
number
The number of hours relative to GMT. The valid range is -23 through +23.
Description: The clock timezone command labels the time of day with an appropriate string denoting the timezone in which you are operating and (optionally) the number of hours relative to GMT.
The no clock timezone command removes the timezone setting in the configuration.
Factory Default: Null string.
Command Mode: Configuration.
Example: The following command sets the timezone on the server to EDT.
router(config)#clock timezone edt -6
router(config)#exit
router>#disable
router>show clock
