
This chapter describes the commands to:
- Enter and exit CLI command modes
- Configure display output on the console screen
- Configure and display CLI shorthand commands
- Display general and specific help information
- Enable/disable the creation of history files for the session
- Log in and out of the CLI
- Configure the behavior of telnet and console sessions into the Avici router, including:
- The number and length of lines displayed on the terminal
- The automatic timeout for a session
- Enable/disable the creation of history files for the session
- The number of lines stored in the history buffer
- Enable/disable user identification on the line (console and/or vty)
