
show rmon log
Displays the current RMON log for this bay.
Syntax: show rmon log [event [startindex [endindex]]]
startindex
The start number of a range of log messages to display.
endindex
The end number of a range of log messages to display
Description: Use this command to display remote monitor log messages for this bay. You can display all messages, from a starting message number to the last message, or a range of messages.
Use the show rmon log command no range variables to display all messages in a log.
Use the show rmon log event command to show all messages associated with this event.
Use the show rmon log event startindex command to display all messages from the startindex value to the end of the log file.
Use the show rmon log event startindex endindex command to display all messages of the range beginning with the startindex value and ending with the endindex value.
The maximum number of log entries was set using the rmon log size command or the default of 200 per event.
Factory Default: All entries.
Command Mode: Privileged.
Example: In the following example the show rmon log command displays log messages between entry 4 and 7 for event 1:
router>enable
router#show rmon log event 1 4 7
Log Index 4, EventIndex 1, Time logged 02:21:24
Description is Index 16 OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.17.1
rising threshold of 8, delta sample , with Value 12
Log Index 6, EventIndex 1, Time logged 04:25:24

rising threshold of 8, delta sample, with Value 22
