show fabric links


Displays fabric link information for all modules or a specified module.

Syntax: show fabric links [module bay/slot]

module bay/slot

Identifies a module whose fabric links are displayed.

Description: Use the show fabric links command with no arguments to display the fabric links for all modules.

Use the show fabric links module bay/slot command to display the fabric links for the specified module.

Factory Default: None.

Command Mode: Executive and privileged.

Example 1: The following is sample output of the show fabric links module bay/slot command:

The following table describes the fields in the display:

Field Description

Fabric Link to Dest.

Lists the six fabric links from the specified module to destination modules.

Admin

Indicates if the link has been administratively shut down using the shutdown fabric links command.

Oper State

Indicates the operating state of the link. Operation State:

If Admin State is down: Oper State should also be down or failed. If admin state is up:

If Admin State is up:

  • Oper State: up indicates the link is fully operational

  • Oper State: down indicates the link is down, but capable of being up if another module were connected.

  • Oper State: failed indicates the heuristic triggered. The link will not come up until its reset.

Speed

Indicates the speed of the link.

CRC Errors

Indicates if any CRC errors have been detected on the link since it was brought up.

Events Left/Max Events

Events Left: indicates the number of additional down events required in the current down-events queue to trigger an HTLF bringing down of the link.

Max Events: indicates the current down-events threshold setting.

Down Events

Indicates the number of down-events since the last reboot of the module.
