fabric link down-event
Modifies the HLTF down-event threshold.
Syntax: fabric link down-event linkName downEventValue
linkName
Specifies the link to apply the down-event value modification:
all - all fabric links
xplus - +X fabric link.
xminus - -X fabric link.
yplus - +Y fabric link.
yminus - -Y fabric link.
zplus - +Z fabric link.
zminus - -Z fabric link.
downEvent
ValueSpecifies the down-event value for the named link.
Description: The down-event threshold is the maximum number of down-events that can occur during the time-window period before heuristic places the link into the "failed" state.
Use the fabric link down-event command to modify the down-event threshold.
NOTE It is strongly recommended that you do not change the down-event threshold default values unless you are certain you know what you are doing. The un-necessary taking down of too many links can result in lost system forwarding performance.
Use the show fabric link command to display the status of the six links associated with each module.
Factory Default: 10.
Command Mode: Module configuration.
Example: The following example changes the down-event threshold value for axis X+ to 7 for module 1/5:
router#config terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#module 1/5
router(config-module)#fabric link down-event xplus 7
router(config-module)#end
router#show fabric links mod 1/5
Module 1/5:
Fabric Link To Admin Oper Speed CRC Events Left/ Down Time
Destination Module State State Errors Max Events Events Window
------------------ ------ ----- ----- ------ ----------- ------ ------
X+ to Module 3/26 Up Up 42 0 7/7 0 10
