
cd
Changes the current directory or device.
Syntax: cd [device:] [directory]
device:
Name of the working device. Name consists of a drive letter or device name followed by a colon (:). The colon is required.
directory
Name of a directory.
Description: Use the cd command to change the working device.
Use cd\ to return top directory of the current device.
Use cd C:\ to return to the top directory of the local hard drive.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Privileged.
Example 1: The following example changes the default device to drive C:
router#cd C:
Example 2: The following example changes the working directory on the spinning media device C: to tables:
router#cd C:/tables
