
atm ilmi-keepalive
Configures the poll interval for ILMI Poll Requests.
Syntax: atm ilmi-keepalive poll-int chkConInt numRet
[no] atm ilmi-keepalive
poll- int
Poll interval determines how frequently ILMI will send keepalive packets. Value is seconds and the range is 1 to 65535.
chkConInt
Check connection interval determines how often keepalive testing is to be done. Value is seconds and the range is 1 to 65535.
numRet
Number of Retries is a variable used to determine how many retry failures constitute a failure. Value is numeric and the range is 1 to 90.
Description: This command configures the interval at which ILMI Poll Requests are sent.
Factory Default: The factory defaults are shown below:
poll interval
1 second
check connection interval
5 seconds
number of retries
4
Command Mode: Interface configuration.
Example: The following example sets the ILMI Keepalive values for interface 1/11/3:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router#(config)#interface atm 1/11/3
router#(config-if)#atm ilmi-keepalive 10 10 3
router#(config-if)#end
