
aaa accounting
Enables/disables AAA accounting services.
Syntax: [no] aaa {radius | tacacs} accounting
Description: When aaa accounting is enabled, the Avici router reports user activity to the AAA server. The AAA server stores the activity as accounting records in an accounting log.
Use the aaa accounting command to enable accounting services for the specified AAA protocol on the Avici router.
Use the no aaa accounting command to disable accounting services on the Avici router.
Factory Default: Disabled.
Command Mode: Configuration.
Example: In the following example, the aaa accounting command enables accounting services on the Avici router, and the show aaa command displays the new setting:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#aaa radius accounting
router(config)#end
router)#show aaa
AAA service: ENABLED
AAA protocol: RADIUS
AAA accounting: ENABLED
