aaa tacacs host
Defines up to 5 AAA servers.
Syntax: [no] aaa tacacs host hostname
tacacs
Specifies TACACS+ as the protocol when communicating with this host.
hostname
Specifies the DNS hostname or IP address of an AAA server.
Description: AAA services operate on the Avici router as a client to a host operating as an AAA server. You can configure up to 5 hosts as AAA servers.
Use the aaa tacacs host hostname command to configure the specified host as an AAA server using the TACACS+ protocol. Repeat the command up to 5 times to configure up to 5 hosts.
Use the no aaa tacacs host hostname command to delete the specified host as an AAA server.
Factory Default: None.
Command Mode: Configuration.
Example 1: In the following example, the aaa tacacs host commands configure 2 hosts as AAA servers using the TACACS+ protocol, and the show aaa command displays the configuration:
router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#aaa tacacs host aaaserver1
router(config)#aaa tacacs host aaaserver2
